Question for the churches with Starbucks in them

What is the difference between selling coffee and what the money changers did in Christ's time? I'm just wondering.

can i stab at it? the moneychangers were selling sacrifices - people traveling would need a sacrifice, and they'd be forced to purchase a $10 dove for $150. the moneychangers were extorting "on behalf of the Lord", often with bad merchandise.

selling something in the church lobby isn't the same thing, unless what you're buying would then be given as a sacrifice or offering to the Lord.

without getting technical about whether or not it's okay to sell stuff @ church - basically, if you purchasing something is supposed to make you somehow closer to God at a way too exhorbitant ripoff price-gauging price, that's wrong. that's where the "den of thieves" came in - if $10 birds were sold for $10, no harm no fowl. (sorry, couldnt help myself).
