"The Bible has a great deal to teach us about how to live as human beings. The Bible does not have so much to teach us about what sorts of food to eat, what sorts of clothes to wear -- there are rules in the Bible about those that we don't observe today," she said.Source
Interesting. We shouldn't follow what the Bible says. Good to know.
::goes out and performs a human sacrifice while wearing nothing but her underwear::
Come on, people. The Bible says we should dress modestly, is that one of those things we should ignore? How about human sacrifice? Perhaps we should start cooking our toddlers up. The Bible says quite clearly that homosexuality is sin, to bust out the KJV, "an abomination" in the eyes of God. So, why is it some people feel it is alright to dismiss this out of hand? Just because they don't like to hear it? People don't like hearing they are sinners and that Jesus is the only way to heaven, but they should still hear that right? Right. So, why on earth would you choose to dismiss something that Scripture is just as specific about?
